"No formal apologies" On Sunday 8th of March, we are returning to Heathrow, we had gone through passport control and security. Also passengers for a Turkish arrive were also waiting at the gate when there was an announcement from the Police that there was a security breach and everyone needed to go back to out and wait and again come through security and passport control. There was chaos as those who had bought duty free had to go back and get their purchases sealed. Bur there were no announcements in English so we had to ask people what was going on. Apparently the crew of the Turkish Airlines had gone through without border and security checks. Delays and confusion were not helped by only having two convey belts used as we all had to go back through security once the all clear was given. No formal apologies. No suggestions of compensation from an airport error. Not a good experience.

"Very nice experience" It is mid-size airport and easy to navigate with everything at short distance. A mere 2 minutes from the plane to the baggage carousel and you have to wait 10 minutse for baggage to arrive. Also, only 2 minutes walk to the public transport station with 2 trains per hour going to Hannover central station and onwards. On departure from airport, the check-in kiosks with 3 minute wait for LH-baggage drop. The security check in staff are very friendily Overall, it is a very nice experience.

"Great airport" Great medium sized airport. I frequently travel from Hannover to the UK. All the terminals are very similar. This airport is good city centre connection with S-Bahn. There is a fast check-in to gate usually, same for arrival to out of door.

"Never flown from here without a problem" I use this airport quiet frequently because I live in Hannover. Despite its small size which should make it hassle free every time but there is something which annoys me always. Either the lift and escalator to the train station is not working, or there are long queues in front of security. Also the WIFI is not working properly and the power plugs in don't provide power. Up to now I have never flown from here without a problem. Although the arrival procedure is very good, luggage usually comes within minutes. Food and beverage is also ok for a relative small airport. Parking a car near the terminal is overpriced for short term, from second day its almost same price then for a week. It is easy to reach by train but it would be even better if the lift or escalator would work.
