The Economic Times

A boarding pass for Colombo was released in Shanghai. I was not permitted to board at the gate saying my passport was valid until March 2020. I demanded that they let me go and I'm going to get assistance in Sri Lanka and I am a US resident who's just going to be in CMB for 2 weeks. Without my permission or consent, they did not listen or support, they modified the date there and put me on the return flight to LAX. I should get a credit on my air fare, if anything occurred at LAX. The airline also claims my ticket's first leg and last leg were used and can not be reimbursed.

They have an inspection and security check-in area for business class customers at Taiyuan airport, which is fine. But the lounge with no toilet was quite low. The interior of the airplane was like domestic short-haul systems in the United States, including business class recliners. Excellent cabin service. Meal was good, but I don't consider it wonderful. It was overall a good flight at first.

I had a knee replacement 13 weeks before the flight, and I ordered and paid extra money for the bulkhead seats. Upon arrival in China, my knee was sore and swollen that I called for a wheelchair. I was asked to say no, you don't need a wheelchair. We didn't get the bulk seats I paid for on the return trip. I called for an upgrade or a refund on the last leg of the flight. I've been advised that the plane is complete and that to get a refund, I need to call this phone. I took photos of 12 empty business class seats on the flight. I called the number and showed them the authorization letter, and I requested the update too long ago, so there's nothing they can do now. They're arrogant, unprofessional, and liars.

The unique conditions of China Eastern Airlines for a wheelchair user was overlooked on flights from Vancouver to Shanghai. In-flight service between Vancouver and Shanghai is provided with a low-standard meal service and in-flight service staff disregard the need to provide sufficient drinking water. The surprising experience is that the Shanghai Airport wheelchair porter left me behind at the end of the terminal because I didn't give him cash. Service support is a very bad, crappy and terrible experience. I'm never going to suggest anyone to fly with China Eastern Airlines again!
