Additional Info: Symptomatic passengers have to undergo mandatory testing and follow it up with quarantine.
Asymptomatic passengers have to select one of the following three options and mention the same on the self-declaration form, to be submitted at the entry point: Produce a COVID negative certificate by an ICMR-authorized lab issued up to 48 hours prior to the date of travel. If passengers arrive at the entry point without any such certificate, they have to undergo mandatory COVID testing by paying INR 2000. As part of this test, their swabs will be collected at the entry point. They are advised maintain social distancing norms until the results come out.
After the swab test is done, 12-hourly follow up health reports will be created and maintained by the authorities. Once the results come out, further quarantine/ home isolation and treatment decisions will be communicated to the passenger by the authorities.
Passengers with international travel history, as declared in the form, have to mandatorily undergo testing and follow quarantine rules until test results come out.
